SARFAC is the recognised peak body, whose role is to advise government on recreational angling issues and to advocate on behalf of the 236,463 recreational anglers in South Australia.

The recreational sector spends $1million every day of the year in pursuit of recreational angling, is the fifth largest employer supporting 15,000 jobs and has a total investment of $1.2 billion in boats and tackle.

We urgently want all anglers to provide their wish list to SARFAC, so that these can be collated and presented to government.

A proposal for the location of South Australian sanctuary zones has been developed. You can view an interactive map on the SA Plan website by clicking here.
